Week 2- Guadalupe Reyes
During work I obviously need to use the restroom and the ones closest to where I usually am is in a small looking house. There's is like zero light in those restrooms and you always need to take your light or a flashlight to see inside there. This is the light we use to direct traffic. It always comes with me to the restroom, and it always makes me feel some type of way both scared and safe. The fact that it makes me feel safe is because I have some source of light lighting the restroom stall instead of having nothing and being pitch black. On the other hand it makes me feel scared because it's dark as it is already and the light being red makes it even scarier, when I see red I think of danger. This only shows me that color is so important, if it was just a normal light no color I would not feel scared at all. When I use the restroom I always hurry up to get out of there because those two emotions mixed together is weird to me.

Red tale light looks great on her face!
ReplyDeleteooooh cool! It's super neat to see a "model" being lit with very "theatrical" angles (like the downlight from the street and front light from the tail lights) but in a very real world setting! There's also such a strong feeling we all know too well when we're stuck in traffic and there's nothing but red tail lights up ahead in a busy bustling city where everyone seems to be moving except you stuck in the car. :) Nice!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so great! I love how the lighting makes her shining in the red/ pinkish color and how it represents the story of your night.
